Best Time to Visit:
Australia is roughly the size of the USA. This means the climate shifts dramatically from one region to another.
Sydney & Melbourne shine in spring and autumn, when it’s not too hot or too cool. (Oct-Nov & Mar-May)
Queensland’s tropical north is best during the dry season (Jun–Oct), when skies are clear and the Great Barrier Reef is at its calmest.
Uluru and the Red Centre are most comfortable in the cooler winter months (May–Sep), avoiding the blistering summer heat.
Australia is always in season. You just need to match the right season to the right destination.
Famous Attractions:
Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Byron Bay, The Great Barrier Reef, The Gold Coast, Uluru & Red Centre, Melbourne, Tasmania. Kangaroos, Koala’s, Quokka’s and Crocodiles.

I was formally an Australian day tour guide. Conversations with travellers from the USA often revealed how much having advice from a local on the “finer details”,prior to arrival, would have improved their trip.
I started this group to do exactly that. Direct access to ask me your Australia questions with insider tips. You’ll also join a community of like-minded travellers sharing ideas with the option to take the information to your travel agent, DIY or engage our personal consulting services.
